Suture Strip® Plus Flexible Wound Closure Strips - Sterile
Suture Strip® Plus is a wound closure strip that is made of macroporous non- woven polyamide with a pressure sensitive adhesive. The inherent elasticity of the product allows the strips to elongate and yield to the movement of skin, preventing the concentration of forces at the proximal ends and reducing the chances of traction blisters or skin shear. The strips are sterile, water resistant and have a skin-friendly adhesive. It is for use as a primary wound closure of surface tissue, traumatic wound closure, and for instances when aesthetic results are of great importance (such as in plastic surgery). Does not contain natural rubber latex.
